How Jeevan ensures blood safety?
Jeevan accepts blood donations from only voluntary donors. Every blood donation is tested for HIV Antigen and Antibody, Hepatitis B Antigen, Hepatitis B Core Antibody, Hepatitis C Antigen and Antibody, Malaria, Syphilis. In addition, every blood donations is screened for the presence of other Red Cell Antibodies. Compatibility testing is done using contemporary technology. The process of collection, processing, testing, storage and release to patients comply to the ISO 15389 standards of NABH
